paint interior of a 400 sq ft garage: simple request, several contractors responded. a few contractors wanted to see the condition of my garage before making a bid. that made sense to me. several other contractors gave me a bid based on the information I provided. bids ranged from $1,000 to over $2,000. Jaime tornados, a small business, was one of those who wanted to see my garage before bidding. Jaime's bid was under $1,000 plus he gave me a disable vet's discount. 1: sanded rough areas2: re taped areas where tape was torn or pealing 3: had two coats of paint to insure complete coverage4: marginal worked expected based upon bid 5: one word to describe 'tornados painting' at completion. Although we didn't end up using Tornados Painting (we went with someone that I've worked with before). I did want to give Jaime a shout out and let folks know that he was prompt, seemed flexible with some the idiosyncrasies of our project, and his bid was significantly lower than the others.
